One of the most important aspects of marketing is the copy!
Before you let out a big *oh no sigh*, stick with me for a couple of minutes.
Writing ad copy can be daunting, but it doesn’t need to be something you overthink.
I will be the first to admit, my grammar / punctuation isn’t always the best and I am not an ad copy expert, but here’s the thing:
Your ad copy should reflect your brand voice!
For example: If you’re a silly, sarcastic, fun, bold brand, you do not need elegant, sophisticated, classy ad copy.
You want ad copy that will attract your ideal client. Here are 4 simple steps to creating ad copy that converts;
Step 1:
Identify your target audience. I know this is so cliché and you’ve heard it a thousand times, but truly get specific about your target audience. The more specifically you can craft your ad copy to their needs, the more effective your ads will be.
Step 2:
Jot down ideas around these four areas, remembering to keep your target audience in mind:
Step 3:
Put it together! Take the ideas you wrote down in each of the 4 areas above and put it all together in a way that flows logically and make your ideal client take the next step!
Step 4:
Create a few variations. Part of Facebook and Instagram ads is testing. Try testing a few different ad copies to see which performs the best.
Voila!
