Setting up your ads and switching the toggle to “ON” isn’t the last step in ad management. It’s just as important to make sure your ads are running at their full potential.
Whether you just started running ads or have been for a while, performing audits is a necessity.
Wondering where to start?
I’ve taken the guesswork out of it and put together the exact checklist I use to audit my client’s ad campaigns, generating a return on ad spend (ROAS) of over 3x!
It’s time to stop wasting money on ads that aren’t converting!
Facebook & Instagram ads are all about testing, testing, and more testing… but understanding when to make changes is important.
After using this checklist to audit your ads, you should have a clear understanding of what is and is not working.
There is no hard and fast rule on when to make optimizations, but I wanted to provide a general guideline on when to analyze results and make optimizations.
After launching ads, check the results and begin to make optimizations after 48 hours – 1 week. This is a big range because it depends on your budget. A monthly ad spend of $5,000 will start generating data a lot quicker than $500.
Continue to make optimizations on the same timeline until ads are performing to a satisfactory level. Once ads are running and there’s lots of data, I recommend checking ads 3-4x per week to ensure results are in line with expectations.
