After using this checklist to audit your ads, you should have a clear understanding of what is and is not working.
There is no hard and fast rule on when to make optimizations, but I wanted to provide a general guideline on when to analyze results and make optimizations.
After launching ads, check the results and begin to make optimizations after 48 hours – 1 week. This is a big range because it depends on your budget. A monthly ad spend of $5,000 will start generating data a lot quicker than $500.
Continue to make optimizations on the same timeline until ads are performing to a satisfactory level. Once ads are running and there’s lots of data, I recommend checking ads 3-4x per week to ensure results are in line with expectations.
